Heather Mills expected to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' fourth season during last night's live results show on ABC, and that's exactly what happened, as the former model and her partner Jonathan Roberts were the fifth couple sent packing from the competition.

"As you can see, I brought my farewell speech," said Mills, who whipped out a piece of paper upon learning she was the fifth celebrity participant eliminated.  "We knew we were going out.  Come on... we were in the bottom two last time and our scores were so bad last night."

"I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Jonathan because he's just amazing," Mills said.  "What's sad is once the dancers go out, he's not paid.  So I feel really bad for that reason, so I'm going to try and get him some great work."

After scoring well with the judges during the first and second weeks of competition, Mills and Roberts fell to the middle-of-the-pack during the third week of performances.  Last week, not only did the duo find themselves among the bottom-two based on a combination of the judges' scores and viewer votes, but Mills also fell in the final moments of her and Roberts routine.

During Monday night's performance episode, Mills and Roberts performed the Paso Doble, but were criticized for failing bring the passion the dance needed and only scored 23 out of a possible 30 points from the judges.  However Mills --who has been competing with a prosthetic left leg because she was hit by a police motorcycle while crossing a London street in August 1993 -- took her ousting in stride, feeling she was able to inspire people.  She also planned on donating any of her monetary winnings from the competition towards animal welfare charities.

"It's just been overwhelming.  Everywhere I go -- from 5-year-olds to 85 -- they just go, 'Oh my God!  I want to dance now!'" said Mills.  "It's just great.  But most importantly, it's raised a fortune for our charities, so hundreds of thousands of animals' lives are going to be saved."

A week after they scored the first perfect 30 out of 30 for their samba performance, the judges were once again kind to two-time Olympic gold medalist speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno and partner Julianne Hough, who scored a 28 for Monday night's rumba.  They were tied atop the judges' leaderboard with professional boxer Laila Ali and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who scored a 28 for the second week in a row following a Monday night performance of the cha-cha.  Hot on their heels were former N Sync singer Joey Fatone and partner Kym Johnson, who scored a 27 with their own samba performance.

Just ahead of Mills and Roberts were former Beverly Hills 90210 actor Ian Ziering and partner Cheryl Burke, who performed the Paso Doble on Monday night and scored a 24 for the fourth week in a row.

"It lacked drama, I didn't like your posture, I didn't like your arms," Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman told Ziering following the performance.  "It's just a little conflicting for me," answered Ziering.  "The Paso Doble is full of intensity, strength and confidence... and that's what I brought to the dance."

Fellow Dancing with the Stars' judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Ziering to take an example from country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who despite only scoring a 21 with his partner Karina Smirnoff for their jive, displayed "exuberance, focus and passion."  Cyrus said he created some of his own dance moves for the routine, which he referred to as the "Bubba Chicken."

"It's about three-quarters jive and one-quarter bubba," explained Cyrus.  "It's a lot of fun."

Rounding out the bottom based on the judges' scores for a second week in a row were former Cheers star John Ratzenberger and his partner Edyta Sliwinska, who had received 19 for their samba performance from the judges.  Ratzenberger and Sliwinska joined Mills and Roberts in the bottom two, but were spared since they received enough viewer votes to counteract their low scores from the judges.

Dancing with the Stars' seventh performance episode will take place on Monday, April 30 on ABC from 8PM ET/PT to 9:30PM ET/PT, with the six remaining couples each being scored on both a ballroom and Latin routine.  On Tuesday, May 1 beginning at 9PM ET/PT, another couple will be eliminated from the competition based on a combination of the judges' scores and viewer votes.
