Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt have revealed whether they are expecting a baby boy or girl.

"I ran into the room and said, 'It's the doctor's office!'" Heidi, 30, recalled to Us Weekly. "The doctor said, 'It's a boy!' I started screaming."
The former The Hills star is currently 17 weeks along in her pregnancy. She was absolutely thrilled to learn the news of her baby's sex and said Spencer, 33, was also "really excited."
"It was in my heart to have a boy. I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, 'Let's just make sure it's healthy. Boy or girl, I don't care,'" Heidi told the magazine.
"I hope to have a little girl one day, but for my first child, I really wanted a son. I'm hoping to God that we don't just have one, but if we do, I wanted a son. I thought it'd be a more natural bond for Spencer since he and his dad are so close."
Heidi said Spencer can't wait to teach his son jujitsu and soccer, which are her husband's latest hobbies.
"I'm really excited for his personality and his little smile," Heidi said of her child. "I'm excited to take him to Disneyland and to see if he's into dinosaurs, Mickey Mouse or ballerinas -- it can be anything. Maybe he'll be the best dancer!"
Heidi revealed a couple of her The Hills co-stars have been supportive of her pregnancy recently, although she didn't mention her former best friend Lauren Conrad.
"[Kristin Cavallari] and [Audrina Patridge] both reached out and said congratulations. I've actually been in touch with both of them for a while now. And I obviously asked both of them for advice. Kristin sent me a whole list of baby things you need in the first few months, which has been really helpful," Heidi told Us.
Heidi and Spencer announced they're expecting their first child together one month ago in April. Their little bundle of joy is due October 19, 2017.
The couple got engaged in May 2007 and wed in April 2009.
