Honey Boo Boo and her family have gotten a big raise from TLC -- just because.

According to TMZ sources, beauty queen Alana Thompson and her clan were earning between $5-$7,000 an episode at the beginning of the series. However, network executives reportedly approached the popular family after discovering Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's successful ratings and offered them a whopping $15-$20,000 per broadcast.
TLC also reportedly provided Thompson's chalk-mining father Sugar Bear with a bodyguard and driver following a recent ATV accident in which he was incapacitated.
While fame and fortune is in the cards for the Thompson clan, stay-at-home mom June Shannon is apparently against all the potential glitz and glam. TLC allegedly offered to find her family a bigger home, but she declined because she's very involved in her town and wouldn't want to move.
In addition, agents have been "swarming" to represent the Thompsons, but Shannon doesn't want to make money a priority in their lives nor does she want publicity to take time away from family bonding, TMZ reported.
TLC announced last week it has ordered additional episodes of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo as well as three holiday specials.
"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has become a pop culture phenomenon," TLC general manager Amy Winter said in a statement. "What you see is what you get and we are excited to share even more of Alana and her family's unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers."
