Holly Madison may have had only five days to rehearse before her Dancing with the Stars experience began, but The Girls Next Door star said she's glad she had the chance to compete.

"I always wanted to do the show so I took the opportunity.  I had so much fun doing it," said Madison during a Tuesday night Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance that followed her Dancing with the Stars elimination. 

"I think this is the most dramatic season of Dancing with the Stars ever.  It was an amazing cast."

Madison and her professional partner Dmitry Chaplin and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and his partner Karina Smirnoff were both booted from Dancing with the Stars' eighth season during last night's special live double-elimination results show broadcast on ABC.

The reason why Madison lacked the same amount of preparation for the show as some of the other eighth-season celebrity participants is because she was added to the show a week before its premiere after singer Jewel Kilcher suffered fractured tibias in both of her legs during training with Chaplin, forcing her to withdraw from the competition.

While she called the show "amazing" and said she was "having a blast," Madison added that participating in it also took a physical toll.

"It was really difficult routines for me, and my body definitely took a beating," she told Kimmel.  "I have all these crazy bruises."

The former Playboy playmate first experienced discomfort in her ribs while practicing for her samba performance last week. While she was able to dance through the injury on the performance and results show, the injury almost became too much for her to bare.

"I had some inflamed intercostal muscles in my chest," she told Kimmel.  "That happened during the samba last week."

"The muscles in your chest became inflamed?!" asked Kimmel with a laugh.

"Not the ones you're thinking," answered Madison before explaining why she decided to continue in the competition.

"There's nothing really you can do.  I just had to fight through the pain and just keep going."

While Madison knows she didn't have enough home viewer votes to keep her in the competition, she told Kimmel she was hopeful that her former boyfriend Hugh Hefner was able to show his support.

"I heard he was watching, but I'm not sure if he's the type to pick up a phone and vote," said Madison about Hefner.
