Watch out Hugh Hefner, because Holly Madison is out for blood.

Madison shared her personal story in Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. While Madison insisted it's important to reveal Bunny secrets and expose life in the Playboy mansion for its negative effects on women, some might argue she's just trying to throw Hefner under the bus.

Madison entered the mansion in Summer 2001 and quickly became known as Hefner's No. 1 girlfriend. She spent years with him and had starred on The Girls Next Door, but the couple finally split in late 2008 when she realized she wanted to get married and have children, but Hefner wasn't willing having experienced two failed marriages.

Madison, 35, told Us Weekly that Hefner, 89, had sent her many letters after she left the mansion and tried to move on with her life. Madison has since starred on Holly's World, wed Pasquale Rotella and welcomed a daughter Rainbow, now two-years-old.

"They were all very formal, short letters, and it would usually be in response to something I said in the press," Madison explained to Us.

"At the time, I had a TV show, so I was doing all kinds of random interviews and they'd ask me my opinion on the new Girls Next Door or who he was dating. If I said anything that was slightly not to his liking, he'd send me some reprimanding type of letter."

Madison said she eventually became fed up with Hefner's antics.

"And it just got to the point where I'd throw them away and not even look at them," she continued. "There was a very creepy vibe to them. I felt like he was trying to act like he was my dad and like control every move that I made."

Former Playboy Bunny Kendra Wilkinson, who had basically competed with Madison for Hefner's attention, recently stood up for the magazine's editor-in-chief in light of Madison trashing him in public for being a controlling, manipulative, selfish man.

Wilkinson argued Madison is seeking revenge on Hefner because she never "got a piece of Playboy" or a ring on her finger. Hefner ended up marrying Playmate Crystal Harris on New Year's Eve in 2013.

Hefner also addressed the shocking allegations against him earlier this week.

"Over the course of my life I've had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy and productive lives, and I'm pleased to say remain dear friends today," Hefner told E! News in a Monday statement.

"Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can't win 'em all!"
