ABC scooped itself and revealed Jones, a member of the Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens NFL football team, will be one of the celebrities competing on Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth season during the network's Sunday night broadcast of the 85th Annual Academy Awards.

"Superbowl champ Jacoby Jones to be on Dancing with the Stars!" the network also tweeted shortly afterward.

The rest of Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth-season cast will still be formally announced Tuesday on Good Morning America as previously planned, according to ABC.

However, according to TMZ, it has confirmed The Bachelor star Sean Lowe, former American Idol finalist and country singer Kellie Pickler, 2012 Olympic gold medal winning gymnast Aly Raisman, and country singer Wynonna Judd will be four of the additional celebrities competing on Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth edition when it premieres on ABC next month.

In addition, the website has reported Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Chelsie Hightower -- two of the show's long-time professional dance partners -- will not participate in the upcoming season.

Jones scored two touchdowns -- one receiving touchdown, one return touchdown -- in the Ravens' Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month.  Overall, he set a new Super Bowl record with 290 all-purpose yards.

Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth season will premiere Monday, March 18 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC -- one week after the finale of Lowe's The Bachelor edition airs in the same time period on March 11.
