Jamie Skaar is stirring the pot and creating drama on Michelle Young's The Bachelorette season.

Jamie opened up about his difficult childhood and how his mother had committed suicide when he was in his twenties. Michelle called Jamie, who was completely vulnerable with the Bachelorette, a "beautiful" man, and she was "so impressed" by him.
Michelle thought she and Jamie were "very compatible" and had "a lot of chemistry." She envisioned a life with him being adventurous, vulnerable, romantic and compassionate, and so she gave him a rose.
But during the second group date of The Bachelorette, several guys appeared jealous over Michelle's "off-the-chart" chemistry with Joe Coleman and questioned if the pair had known each other prior to the show.
The men decided not to harp on the subject and just focus on their own connection with Michelle, but Jamie admitted the situation bothered him and looked "odd and suspicious."
Jamie therefore proceeded to lie to Michelle by telling her that other men were concerned about her dynamic with Joe although he didn't care and was totally fine with whatever happened in her past.
"I think given this entire journey is about authenticity and about trust, and that that's the standard that has been set, I think there are people out there that have been questioning that," Jamie told Michelle.
He added, "I think it's gotten to the point where it's taken on a life of its own, and I think it's important because it also could potentially extend outside of just this bubble here."
Jamie also claimed one of his friends once spotted Michelle out at a bar with "a tall, light-skinned baller" and so people assumed she was "boo'd up."
Michelle broke down into tears over the idea of her bachelors questioning her honesty and integrity, and she didn't know which men had her back and believed in her.

Jamie Skaar has founded two Washington-based companies
After working in sales for Zip Local and Energy Today, Jamie founded SanctuAire, for which he also serves as CEO, in March 2020.
Jamie describes the company as "Next Generation Air Purification," adding that it provides "pure air for people that care."
Jamie also founded Sol Solutions Today in March 2015, for which he also serves as CEO.
The company's goal is to be the leader in Building Biology to teach homeowners how their home impacts their health and well-being.
"Our solutions focus on home health, performance, and longevity," according to Jamie's LinkedIn account.

Jamie is a world traveler
The Bachelorette bachelor has a taste for all things and is the type of guy who will show up at the airport and let the ticketing agent decide his destination.
Jamie actually did this before and ended up enjoying an amazing week in Uruguay.

The suitor hopes to find a woman who will join him on his adventures
Jamie is looking for a life partner -- a woman who is independent, driven and always ready to head out for dinner at the newest local hot spot.
Jamie values new cultural experiences and making memories. He once traveled to Ecuador just to try their chocolate.
The bachelor previously studied in London
Jamie attended Richmond, The American International University in London, and studied International Business from 2009 to 2010.
He then transferred to the University of Washington, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics. Jamie graduated from the university in 2011.
Jamie was not a fan of The Bachelor franchise prior to appearing on the show
Jamie never watched a season of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette or Bachelor in Paradise before competing on Michelle's season.
In fact, Jamie has never watched a single episode of reality TV in his life. He would prefer spending his free time playing his favorite game, chess, for example.
ABC calls Jamie, who supports minority business owners, "a catch"
"Jamie is a catch. He has a great job, is extremely smart and has a healthy idea of exactly what he needs in a wife," ABC says.
For the past two years and change, beginning in September 2019, Jamie has served on The Board of Advisors for a company called Urban Business Support.
Urban Business Support's mission is to provide access to capital and business services to minority business owners in areas at risk of gentrification, according to Jamie's LinkedIn.
