Jason Alabaster is one of Gabby Windey's three remaining bachelors on The Bachelorette's currently-airing nineteenth season.

Gabby has pointed out how Jason is quiet, reserved and a bit guarded. Jason even captions the majority of his Instagram videos and photos with one simple word or emoji.
However, Gabby was drawn to Jason from the start, and she even gushed during their first one-on-one date in Paris, "I'm in love. [The date] really was magical."
Gabby worked to break Jason out of his shell, and he showed the Bachelorette how he can be open and vulnerable.
Jason's family also loved Gabby during his hometown date, but Jason explained to his mother how he couldn't see himself proposing marriage to Gabby at this point in the journey. He said he needed space to process everything and being part of The Bachelorette was scary for him.
"It's not her. It just wouldn't feel right to me," Jason admitted.
But Gabby was head over heels for Jason, telling the cameras, "I could see myself with him forever, and I'm excited about the future... I am falling in love with him. I never felt this way before, and it feels like I'm in a dream."

The Bachelorette bachelor used to have a passion for tennis
Tennis is a family affair for the Alabasters. Mostly everyone in Jason's extended family plays the game.Jason's grandfather Jake was drafted in WWII, and his love of tennis got him through some of the worst battles, according to Jewish Scene Magazine.
Jake supported Jason -- who was photographed with a tennis racket at age 3 and began playing tennis at age 5 -- through his tennis career and attended pretty much every match.
Jason told Gabby that he eventually fell out of love with tennis because it became too competitive and he never felt good enough. He therefore decided that he wanted to do something different with his life.

The Bachelorette suitor developed hobbies over the years other than tennis
Jason loves to surf and dance. He also enjoys touring historical homes.Jason's favorite pastime is stargazing, and he's close to his sister and also loves cats. On Instagram, Jason posted a photo of himself kissing a cat, seemingly his cat, named Napolean.
Jason attended college in Florida
Jason graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, in 2014 with a degree in Economics.Jason chose Rollins College to play tennis over Memphis, Louisville, and Michigan State among other smaller schools. While at Rollins College, he earned All-American honors in 2012 as a member of one of the nation's top doubles teams in Division 2.
Before going off to college, Jason was a student at Lausanne Collegiate School in his hometown of Memphis, TN.
