Deemed to lack confidence and believe in herself, Jayla, a 20-year-old delivery driver from Tucson, AZ, became the tenth girl eliminated from the fifth edition of America's Next Top Model during last night's UPN broadcast.

After that, Twiggy arrived to teach the girls about British fashion trends and sent each of them on a series of go-sees with London's top fashion designers. Using the information they learned about British fashion, the girls shopped for new outfits to wear at each of their meetings.
During the go-sees, the girls were evaluated on their recent photos and knowledge of each designer's individual style, but Jayla's style choices and lack of preparation didn't leave much of an impression at her meetings. "I can't believe that Jayla, as a professional model, wouldn't bring her own high-heels," said designer Ashley Isham.
The next day, the girls were excited to learn that Nigel Barker would photograph their Bollywood-inspired photo shoot, where they were challenged to stand out from the other models in the picture. While most of the participants received praises for their effort, Jay Manuel became frustrated with the lack of expression on Jayla's face. "I don't think you can honestly step out into that world with that one expression," he said.
During this week's elimination ceremony, the girls were asked to create a modern look using a traditional Sari wrap. Jayla's lackluster look caused the judges further disappointment, and in the end, they agreed that although she is beautiful, her personality and energy had dwindled. "You don't believe in yourself. We see the doubt when you walk in," Tyra explained to Jayla before she eliminated her from the competition.
