Jed Wyatt allegedly texted his then-girlfriend "I love you" just before boarding a plane to fly to California and begin filming The Bachelorette's fifteenth season starring Hannah Brown.

"I love you! Don't forget that. Everything is always working out," Jed, a 25-year-old singer and songwriter from Nashville, TN, allegedly wrote to Haley at the time.
"It all adds up. Meditate, pray, center yourself in positive energy!"
In reply to his message, Haley reportedly texted back, "I love you! You're such a light to me and to everyone you surround yourself with. I can't wait for the whole world to know you Jed."
"You are so special and you are going to be so great!" she added. "I'm all yours and I'm going to miss you like crazy. Go be an inspiration and a light. I'll be praying for you (and me) and your family everyday!"
Haley -- who is also a Nashville-based musician -- then apparently asked, "Are you boarding?"
Jed allegedly replied, "About toooooo. I'll call you in the plane!"
"Ok!" she wrote back, according to the screenshots.
Haley told ET that she feels foolish looking back at that alleged text-message exchange.
"Obviously I've looked back on this. I read text messages that I sent that I'm like, 'This is embarrassing. How could I let myself be here? How could I let myself believe this?'" Haley admitted.

But according to Haley, Jed planned to use Hannah in the worst way given he had a girlfriend back home the entire time and had promised to resume dating her once the show was over.
"Someone told me they love me, this is what's best for them, I trusted in that," Haley explained.
"I could never have known that this is what the situation would be. I could never have known that feelings would be involved or hearts would be broken."
Haley added, "I know that this story is hurtful to Hannah, and she's feeling what I have felt, and that is not an easy thing to do or know that I've done. None of it's easy. So many people are tied up in this."
But Haley claims Jed was honest with her about his intentions for going on The Bachelorette from the get-go. He reportedly told Haley he might be cast on the show three weeks into their relationship and even gave her an out.
Haley, however, said she decided to stick it out with Jed, and so they had been together for four months by the time he left for filming in March.
"He came forward, basically said, 'I've been talking to my mom about this, I just don't think there's any way we can go forward. I kind of see where this is going, and I don't feel right not giving you the chance to walk away. I have to be upfront about it,'" Haley recalled.

Given Jed is only one of nine men remaining on The Bachelorette, there's a possibility Hannah gave the country singer her final rose. There's even a chance they are currently engaged.
Haley admitted to ET she would feel "bad" if Hannah and Jed ended up together.
"I never even got broken up with. Never got any explanation. I could get choked up thinking about it right now," Haley told E! News in a separate interview.
"This was the person that I was in love with... It's devastating, honestly. It's hurtful."
But Haley insisted she's ready to move forward with her life, even if Jed isn't.
"He could tell me a million things but at the end of the day, I have to be the one to move on," Haley told E! News.
Haley first opened up about her romance with Jed and recent heartbreak to People, claiming she wanted to tell her story in her own words and "control the narrative."
"I was following along on spoiler accounts, trying to figure out when my boyfriend was going to come home. I bought a homecoming outfit that I was going to wear to maybe pick him up at the airport," Haley told People last week.

Haley insisted Jed was hoping to woo Hannah and string her along far into the The Bachelorette process, revealing, "He said he only wanted to be Top 5 [bachelors]... to be a major player so that it would be beneficial [to his career]."
Haley said Jed always said the right thing when she'd express concern over the fact he might end up seriously dating another woman and falling in love.
"He was always so reassuring," noted Haley, who met Jed in October 2018 in Nashville. "He told me, it's not real. It's acting."

"He said, 'I love you, and I'll call you when I get back,'" she previously told People.
Haley said she was "baffled" to discover Jed recently returned home to Nashville but never called her. She therefore reportedly confronted him when they bumped into each other at a music venue earlier this month.
Haley claimed Jed offered little to no explanation as to what happened with Hannah on The Bachelorette.
"The hardest part is that he ghosted me. He loved me, but he didn't have enough respect for me to have that tough conversation," she told People last week.
