Fellow Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant Jennie Garth apparently isn't buying fifth-season champion Helio Castroneves' claim that his engagement to now former fiancee Aliette Vazquez only ended "one or two weeks" ago.

Garth's statement appears to support Vazquez' own claim that despite Castroneves' recent comments, she hadn't spoken to Castroneves in two months and hadn't seen him since Dancing with the Stars' first fifth-season premiere in September.
Despite her apparent disagrement about when Castroneves' relationship with Vazquez, a Cuban fashion designer, ended, Garth does believe his other claim -- that despite the long kiss they shared at the end of one of their Dancing with the Stars finale routines, Castroneves and professional partner Julianne Hough are not romantically involved.
"It was part of that routine, that kiss. It was hilarious. We were like, 'Eww! He's kissing her!'" Garth told Inside Edition. "When Julianne Hough dances she could have chemistry with broomstick. There was just no romance going on between Helio and Julianne."
Garth -- who finished Dancing with the Stars fifth-season in fourth place with her professional partner Derek Hough, Julianne's older brother -- said she understands the rumors that Julianne and Castroneves are in a romantic relationship.
"When you're young and you're single, you spend a lot of time with your dance partner," she told Inside Edition.
While Garth said she spent "hours and hours and hours" rehearsing with Derek, she said her husband -- actor Peter Facinelli -- was understanding.
"He had his moments [of jealousy]," Garth told Inside Edition. "But my partner was so respectful."
