Grey, 50, won the show's coveted mirror ball trophy last week. She is best known for her work in the films "Dirty Dancing" and "Red Dawn."

"It's just going be like a little surgery where they take out the ruptured disc thing, and you know, it won't be a big deal," she told "Access Hollywood." "Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won't be a big deal. I'll be home that night."

People.com said Grey previously had operations to help relieve neck pain that resulted from a 1987 car accident. She also had her thyroid removed after she was diagnosed with cancer.
