Jenny McCarthy wants Ryan Seacrest and Taylor Swift to kiss at midnight on New Year's Eve.
Seacrest kissed Miley Cyrus on the program last year, and McCarthy told the "American Idol" host Swift would be a great choice for 2015.
"I think Taylor Swift would be perfect," she urged. "Cause Miley kissed you last year and they missed it on camera ... Miley Cyrus, not bad. So, Taylor Swift this year. I'm going to make it happen."
Seacrest has hosted the television special since 2006, and co-hosted with McCarthy since 2010. The producer spoke to Billboard as he prepared for the celebration Tuesday morning, and shared his favorite aspects of the bash.
"The insanity, the craziness, that it is," he related. "The fact that everybody's got a smile on their face. Out of all the moments of the year, I don't think everybody's on the same page as [much as] they are at midnight on New Year's Eve."McCarthy currently hosts "Dirty, Sexy, Funny" on Sirius XM, and will star on A&E reality series "Donny Loves Jenny" with husband Donny Wahlberg.
Seacrest is involved with a number of projects, including "American Idol" and radio show "On Air with Ryan Seacrest."
