It didn't take long for Jerry Springer to renew his America's Got Talent hosting role.

America's Got Talent Live will begin its 10-week run on October 7 and feature performances by the show's eventual fourth-season winner as well as some of the other most popular acts from it.
"Jerry is the ideal master of ceremonies for the Vegas live show," said Andy Felsher, an executive with FremantleMedia Enterprises, the commercial arm of America's Got Talent's FremantleMedia production company.
"His passion for the brand is almost palpable, and the eclectic and enthusiastic Vegas audiences will love his star quality and quick wit. I am thrilled that we are able to keep him as part of the America's Got Talent family, particularly given his contribution to making the show the sensation it is today."
After hosting America's Got Talent's second and third seasons, Springer announced this past February that he would not be returning for the show's fourth season due to his commitment to The Jerry Springer Show and an unidentified stage role -- which he subsequently revealed was as Billy Flynn in Chicago at the West End's Cambridge Theatre.
Springer will now host America's Got Talent Live, with shows running every Wednesday through Sunday at Planet Hollywood's 1300-seat CHI Showroom.
"Jerry will bring his magnetic personality and enthusiasm for the America's Got Talent brand to the live show and will be a great presence on stage in our showroom," said Planet Hollywood president Thomas McCartney.
"Having someone with Jerry's entertainment experience as such an integral part of this show will support and nurture the new talent being presented in Vegas, the entertainment capitol of the world."
America's Got Talent's fourth-season finale is currently slated to air Wednesday, September 16 at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
