Jersey Shore apparently fascinates Barbara Walters.

The entire cast of MTV's Jersey Shore reality series has made Walters' "Most Fascinating People of 2010" list.
Walters has also chosen actress Betty White, teen singer Justin Bieber, film star Sandra Bullock, NBA basketball star LeBron James, former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, royal fiancee Kate Middleton, and entertainer and upcoming American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez to be on her list of 2010 standouts in the fields of entertainment, sports and world affairs.
Two additional "Most Fascinating People" have yet to be revealed, and the tenth individual will be announced on the ABC News special when it airs December 9 at 10PM ET/PT.
Although Walters admitted she has not watched Jersey Shore often, she said she was impressed and entertained by her interview with the gang, according to The Associated Press.

"They were all on very good behavior and very well dressed, and they've all got big plans for the future," Walters said. "And they taught me their language" -- terms like "smoosh" and "grenade" -- "none of which I need to know."
According to ABC News, the Jersey Shore cast gave Walters a tutorial in "gym-tan-laundry" -- better known as "GTL" -- and their guido-lifestyle of which Walters wanted to learn the inside scoop.
"I need a lesson. Okay, because you have your own language. So you gotta help me, 'GTL,'" Walters told the cast.
Walters also reportedly asked the reality TV stars how they plan to spend all the money they have accumulated, resulting in Jenni "JWOWW" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealing they plan to buy a house together -- in Long Island, NY, not New Jersey -- after Snooki pays off the mortgage of her mother's home.
In addition, Lopez opened up to Walters about balancing her personal life, including her marriage to singer Mark Anthony and being a mother to twins, with her professional life.

"I think love has to be learned. When two people come together it's a very tricky thing. I think what's great about Mark and I is that we work toward making it as perfect as you can. Nobody's perfect, nothing ever is going to be. But you work toward that," Lopez told Walters.
