First Italian residents were stirred up over MTV's plans to film the fourth season of Jersey Shore in Italy, now the country's nightclubs and hotels are also reportedly expressing disapproval about the show.

"Several of the housemates haven't signed their contracts and until they do, the cast can't go to Italy. The cast was meant to leave on April 18, but now with the contact troubles, they won't be leaving until May," a source told RadarOnline.
"Producers are also having a really difficult time finding venues for the cast to party at too."
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, and Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio are reportedly the Jersey Shore stars who have been holding off signing their contracts and are hoping to negotiate a better deal for more money.
According to RadarOnline, the Florence area has been chosen as the season's base, but the local venues are aware of the Jersey Shore cast's reputation for provocative and chaotic behavior and uninterested in getting involved with the show.
Overseas criticism to the idea of filming Jersey Shore's fourth season in Italy had surfaced immediately after MTV announced its plans in January.
"That's the last thing we need," Beppe Severgnini, a prominent Italian commentator, told The Wall Street Journal at the time, adding that he's "not worried about the characters feeling out of place."
