Apparently, Sorrentino -- who also participated in the eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars last fall -- lost the fight to Ortiz, and both reality TV stars have the battle wounds to prove it.
Sorrentino reportedly returned to the Jersey Shore cast's apartment with red marks covering half his face near his left eye, while Ortiz arrived at a separate time with just his knuckles cut and bleeding.
While the details regarding the reality TV stars' blowout have yet to emerge, according to TMZ, their fistfight was a direct result of another dispute between Ortiz and his on-again, off-again girlfriend Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola.
Although they split during Jersey Shore's third season, Ortiz and Giancola were photographed walking through the streets holding hands and enjoying a romantic private dinner date at a restaurant earlier on Monday, the U.K.'s Daily Mail newspaper reported.
