The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer has teased that something "very special and unique" happens on Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season.

"There's going to be something really special and unique this season, something to celebrate," Jesse told Entertainment Tonight.

"I think all of Bachelor Nation is going to be really, really excited about it. I think everybody on the beach will be too."

Jesse may have been teasing a couple getting married on the beach in Mexico. Based on Bachelor in Paradise's Season 9 trailer, it appears Jesse serves as the officiant of a couple's wedding.

"I'm very, very excited for that," Jesse said. "I just can't wait. I really cannot wait to see what happens and where this goes."

And the bachelors and bachelorettes looking for love in Paradise -- 18 of whom had been announced in late August by ABC -- will discover "the Paradise Truth Box," which, according to one contestant, is "definitely going to destroy some couples."

On Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season, which aired on ABC last summer, established couples were separated and forced to live at different resorts for many days as new sexy men and women arrived to shake things up and possibly ruin romances.

The twist, similar to Love Island's Casa Amor, broke up some couples and caused a flood of tears last year. At one point, a group of women even shouted, "F-ck you, Jesse Palmer!"

Jesse therefore told ET with a laugh, "I'm doing everything in my power not to have a group of adult women go into a balcony and say, 'F you, Jesse Palmer.' That's a personal goal of mine this season."

"I can't promise that's going to happen," he added, "but I hope it does not. You just never know how this is going to go."

Regardless of the surprises that will pop up in the new season, the cast will probably cause drama without any help from production.

"Last year, I sort of went in with maybe some personal preconceived notions of what might happen and who might end up being together, and everything got turned on its head completely," Jesse admitted.

"And that's probably going to happen again, this season, as well. I think we have an amazing cast."

The initial Season 9 cast of Bachelor in Paradise includes Aaron Bryant, Aaron Schwartzman, Blake Moynes, Brayden Bowers, Brooklyn Willie, Peter Cappio, Sean McLaughlin, and Will Urena.

The rest of the cast is comprised of Catherine "Cat" Wong, Eliza Isichei, Greer Blitzer, Jessica "Jess" Girod, Katherine "Kat" Izzo, Kylee Russell, Olivia Lewis, Mercedes Northup, Rachel Recchia, and Samantha "Sam" Jeffries.

"I'm excited to see Blake, [the winner] of [Katie Thurston]'s season. Eliza is coming back to the beach and obviously there was a lot of drama surrounding her last year with [Rodney Mathews] and [Justin Glaze] as well, so it's going to be interesting, obviously," Jesse noted.

"I know Kat and Brooklyn had some differences during Zach's season that sort of bled into Women Tell All. I don't know if that's totally been resolved yet, so I'm curious to see how that will play out here."

And Jesse hinted that big things could happen for Rachel, who failed to find lasting love with Clayton Echard on The Bachelor before co-starring on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season alongside Gabby Windey.

"Someone I'm very excited to see show up on the beach is Rachel. She's someone who's come this close to finding love a couple different times. Hopefully this will be it," Jesse teased, before adding that having a former The Bachelorette star in the cast "no doubt" has an "impact" on the beach.

"It definitely leaves a mark on the beach," Jesse said.

"It'll be interesting whenever Rachel arrives, just to sort of see the response she gets. I think she's going to be a real hot commodity on the beach for sure, for very obvious reasons."

Jesse apparently believes there is "a ton of possibility and opportunity for real love to blossom here in the beach."

And on the topic of a possible marriage, Jesse teased, "If the situation arises, but it has to be the right situation obviously. You don't want to force that upon anybody, for sure. But every season is unique, so we'll see what happens."

During the sneak peek video of Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, Jesse said in a voiceover, "Get ready for a wild time on the beach -- sexy dates and four former Bachelorettes crashing the party. Plus, someone has a serious medical emergency."

Jesse added, "Who will find their soul mate? Who will leave in tears? And who will decide to get MARRIED in Paradise?!"

In July, spoilers surfaced revealing some of what happened and which couples left together when Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season was filmed in Mexico in June.
