Jessica Simpson has chopped her long locks.

"Short hair don't care," Simpson wrote Saturday. "Cut by my favorite @roqchop and blondie by the best of all time @ritahazan"
The star's longtime colorist, Rita Hazan, told People magazine Simpson had to dye her hair light blonde for her summer nuptials so that her mane would match her daughter Maxwell's.
"Jessica just had to be blonde," Hazan said. "She looks her best as a blonde."
On Sunday, Simpson shared another photo of her new look, for which she posed with her husband, Eric Johnson, and simply wrote, "I love him" in the caption.
