Jessica Simpson has people buzzing she was under some type of influence during her Home Shopping Network appearance Thursday night.

Simpson, 35, was discussing the "Kiss Me" Super Skinny Gray Jean from her tenth-anniversary collection with HSN host Colleen Lopez when she started mumbling and slurring her speech. She also appeared unsteady on her feet.
Many viewers immediately took to social media using the hashtag #JessicaOnHSN to talk about the fashion designer's strange behavior, accusing her of being "high" or "drunk." One Twitter user flat out called her "a disaster," while another said it was just "embarrassing" and "inappropriate."
But Simpson's antics clearly didn't bother people enough to deter them from buying her clothes. She sold out during her two-hour "sell-a-thon," according to People.
Although the former Fashion Star, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica and The Price of Beauty star has yet to comment on all the hype, HSN released a statement to People regarding her segment.

"It was fun to have Jessica make her HSN debut with her mother Tina last night. We were happy to host them and thrilled with the way customers responded to the collection," the network said.
