In the final part of TLC's special Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jessa went into labor and it lasted a whopping 48 hours, according to Us Weekly.
Jessa's husband Ben Seewald admitted he was even in pain just watching his wife undergo such torture. Ben said in the episode that labor kept "dragging on and dragging on."
"Ben was just solid," Jessa's mom Michelle Duggar gushed about. "He was there and he stuck by her side. It was really sweet."
After Spurgeon arrived on November 5 weighing nine pounds and eleven ounces, Jessa experienced "a gush of blood" that made Ben "a lot nervous" and even scared Michelle, who has given birth 19 times. Jessa's 25-year-old sister Jana confessed she went "into panic mode" after witnessing the incident.

Jessa was therefore rushed to the hospital via ambulance. She lost so much blood she required a blood transfusion. The family acknowledged Spurgeon's size likely contributed to her difficult delivery and health complications.
However, Jessa was back to her old self within a few days.
Jessa and Jill also agreed upon the fact it would be really nice to adopt children. When Ben threw out a comment about how he'd love to have 15 sons, Jessa didn't exactly shoot down the idea. On the contrary, Jessa thinks it would be "awesome" to have that many children in the future.
