It looks like a 19 Kids & Counting spinoff starring Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald is not likely.

There's been talk of a potential spinoff starring these ladies and their husbands ever since TLC canceled the Duggar family's reality show 19 Kids & Counting because Josh Duggar had admitted to molesting five underage girls when he was 14-years-old.

While Jill and Jessa's marriages and pregnancies have been hugely popular and headline-making, their father Jim Bob Duggar is not a fan of the spinoff idea, People reported.

"He absolutely wanted to be back on TV and was never thrilled about the show suddenly shifting focus," an insider told People of Jim Bob, 50.

Filming a spinoff is not really even feasible anymore, as 24-year-old Jill, her husband Derick Dillard and their four-month-old son Israel are currently on a mission trip in Central America. They reportedly departed for the experience in early July.

"And with that, one half of any potential new show was gone," the insider added.

Jessa, 22, is expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald in November 2015.

"[Jess] clearly [one of the stars] in the family: beautiful, smart, strong-willed," the insider told People. "She may be slightly more free-spirited than your average Duggar, but she is firmly and centrally a part of the family, as is her husband."

The only show on the agenda for the Duggar family right now is a one-off special on TLC that will speak about survivors of child abuse. Members of the clan will appear on the documentary.

"They're happy to show that this did not scar them permanently," the insider said.
