Joan Vassos' four children are apparently ready for The Golden Bachelorette to air its finale, which will conclude Joan's televised journey to find love again.

"I think they're ready for it," Joan, 61, told Us Weekly of her family at The Golden Bachelorette: The Men Tell All taping in October.
"They're looking forward to it. It's a lot, being the kid that has a parent on TV. I feel for kids who do it, this is their life."

Joan welcomed Nicholas, Erica, Allison and Luke with her late husband, John Vassos, who passed away at age 59 in 2021 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Joan admitted her family was "always a little worried" she'd get her heart broken on the ABC reality dating show.
"They also were worried that I was going to embarrass them," Joan quipped. "So, I think they're kind of ready to not have to have that worry every day."
Joan joked about how her daughters have been giving her a hard time this season.
"When they watch a show, one of my daughters critiques it every week and tells me how many men I kissed," Joan said.
"[She] calls me in the morning, tells me how many I kissed, and how much she embarrassed me and how much I embarrassed her. So, I think that they're ready to maybe have their life back to normal a little bit."

The Golden Bachelorette finale is going to feature Joan deciding between her Final 2 bachelors: Charles "Chock" Chapple and Guy Gansert.
Joan's third-place finisher, Pascal Ibgui, did, in fact, hurt Joan when he chose to quit The Golden Bachelorette before his overnight Fantasy Suite date.
Pascal explained to Joan that he didn't feel "a spark" with her and he wasn't falling in love with her.
"I had 24 people here in the beginning and... I might leave with nobody. It could happen," Joan cried in a confessional.
"I was afraid coming into this, and then, my fears started getting better. And now, I'm afraid again."

Joan also struggled with opening her heart again considering she still loves and misses John.
"I think when I came onto the show, I thought that I was really ready and I felt really confident and that I knew what I was doing and I found out that was completely wrong," Joan told Us.
"I wasn't completely ready, and I didn't realize that. And I don't think I could have realized that if I hadn't come on the show because I needed to start having feelings for somebody. And that had not happened yet."
Joan said it took her a long time to realize she could give a new man a piece of her heart while still holding the memory of John there.

"[I learned] I could still be in love with John and still have another person that there's room in my heart for that," Joan shared.
"So, I think that's the biggest thing I learned about myself, that your heart is bigger than you realize."
The Golden Bachelorette finale is set to air Wednesday, November 13 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Joan was asked to dish about her The Golden Bachelorette ending during a recent episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
"I can't reveal a lot, obviously," Joan noted.
But Joan confessed the final days of her journey were "so hard" to get through.
"Yeah, so, things happened that surprised me," Joan teased.
"So emotions happen that surprised me. The way the guys processed some things surprised me. So the ending -- just like The Bachelor always has -- is a dramatic surprise."
And Joan told Kaitlyn, "I didn't think that I was going to be that person!"
Joan recalled how, when filming began, she thought she was going to navigate The Golden Bachelorette process drama-free.
"And then I was like, 'What the hell just happened?' I was sitting in my room, like, 'I don't even know how to process this!'" Joan said.

But Joan assured Kaitlyn that she managed to process what happened and she's in a good place now.
While Joan declined to reveal if she walked away from the process with a man by her side, Joan said she'd definitely be open to a televised wedding one day.
"I don't necessarily think that's the most personal way to do it, and not the best possible way to serve my family and friends," Joan admitted.
"But I do really feel like millions of people have watched the show and they deserve to see the happy ending. I could do a private thing also."
