Joan Vassos said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour: The Golden Hour" podcast that she wouldn't move for a man. However, she won't expect her partner to relocate for her either!
Joan, who currently resides in Maryland, said she wants to "have more than one home."
She noted, "Because I'm not willing to leave my kids and my family, and, really, my friends."
Joan said she's looking after her 92-year-old mother in Maryland as well as her mother-in-law and so she "couldn't leave" the state and "would not leave" under any circumstances.
"And I wouldn't want a guy to leave his family for me, because that tells me something about him!" Joan admitted.
"If he would leave his family for me, then he does not have the same kind of relationship with his family that I have with mine, and we're not going to be compatible. That's just not going to work."
Joan therefore said she and her future partner, fiance or spouse can "go back and forth" and maybe have another "vacation home" where their loved ones could all meet up and enjoy being together as "a big, happy family."
