Charity could see Joey's heart early on, and she said that he made her feel special and seen. She called Joey's energy "infectious" and said she could see him becoming her husband one day.
Joey told Charity that he was "falling in love" with her during his hometown date, but Charity discovered that Joey -- whom his family and friends think is outgoing, charming and energetic -- didn't always act like himself around people.

"I am human. There are moments when I don't feel that way, but then I try to push to be that person I think everybody sees me to be. That's the part that can be taxing," Joey told Charity during their Fantasy Suite date.
"I know it can be tough to be a person in a relationship with me because it can almost maybe sometimes feel like it can be a roller coaster. But it's just me, right?"
Charity could relate to trying to be "the best" all the time in order to get attention or praise from others.
Joey believed he and Charity really saw each other, and so he shared with The Bachelorette star, "Since [my hometown], I've realized that I am in love with you, and I've been wanting to tell you that for a while. I am in love with you, and I just want you to know that."
"Joey, that makes me so happy," Charity replied.

"You saying those words to me in this moment could not make me happier, and after the day that we spent, it's not even a matter of, 'Am I falling in love with you?' I am in love with you, and it is the best feeling... It's huge for me. I am so excited to be feeling like this."
Charity and Joey went on to enjoy an off-camera, overnight date together -- and Charity gushed in a confessional that Joey was "the definition of a perfect person, the person I've prayed for."
Charity even called her love for Joey "eternal," and after spending the night with him, she cried when he had to leave her. So did Joey end up winning Charity's heart?
