Jordan then proposed marriage to JoJo during the romantic season finale, and she accepted.
After nearly three years of dating, the couple announced they planned to get married in 2020.
"It's happening," JoJo told People in July 2019, adding that the couple would exchange vows in "spring or summer" of 2020.
"We want an outdoor wedding in California either Malibu, Napa or Santa Barbara. We're going to tour and lock in a venue sooner rather than later."
The following month, Jordan also proposed marriage to JoJo for a second time with a new engagement ring.
However, after the coronavirus pandemic hit America, the couple decided to postpone their wedding to 2021.
"6.13.20 ... Happy 'What would have been Wedding Day' to us!" JoJo wrote on Instagram on June 13, 2020 alongside a photo of Jordan kissing her cheek.
"As you guys know, we have spent the last 11 months planning the wedding of our dreams but given the circumstances of 2020, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our special day. Even though I don't get to marry you today @jrodgers11, I know it will be all more worth the wait."
JoJo didn't reveal the exact date she planned to walk down the aisle in 2021, but she did confirm the year in her post, "2021, we really can't wait for you."
However in May 2021, the couple announced they had decided to postpone their wedding for a second time due to coronavirus-pandemic complications and other circumstances.
"[The wedding is] probably going to be next year, which is like a dagger for when I say that," JoJo told Access. "It's literally so frustrating for me and such a bummer to me."
"In a million years, I never thought that a year [from the start of the pandemic] we'd still be in a similar predicament with capacity issues, COVID restrictions."
JoJo explained that when she and Jordan had to make their final call about whether to follow through with their May 2021 nuptials or delay the wedding again, the couple's chosen venue was still at "a 10-person maximum capacity."
JoJo and Jordan eventually married in May 2022.
The couple tied the knot at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, CA, on Saturday, May 14.
JoJo donned an off-the-shoulder, mermaid-style gown by Ines di Santo gown, and Jordan sported a traditional tuxedo with a black bow tie.
