"I am so happy, this is crazy!" Dalton told PageSix.com. "I am a dad, I am about to go and smoke a cigar!"
Deighton gave birth to Piper Addison on Wednesday at 9:34AM at Danville Regional Medical Center, with the baby girl weighing six pounds, seven ounces.
"This is the most amazing and wonderful thing," Deighton told PageSix.com. "Piper Addison is beautiful and I couldn't want for anything more... Now I just want to be skinny again!"
The couple -- who met while filming Fox Reality Channel's Fall 2005 Camp Reality -- got engaged on New Year's Eve when Dalton proposed, according to PageSix.com, which added the reality lovebirds plan to wed this May or June. The couple had announced they were expecting their first child last September.
Dalton competed under the "Jonny Fairplay" moniker during Survivor's pirate-themed seventh installment in Fall 2003, in which he finished third and failed to live up to his self-appointed nickname when he faked that he had just learned of his grandmother's death to win a Reward Challenge.
The Survivor: Pearl Islands appearance landed Dalton several additional reality television roles that will soon have him come full circle, as he'll compete as one of the 10 returning castaways on Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites, the sixteenth edition of the long-running CBS reality series that will premiere Thursday, February 7, at 8PM ET/PT.
He is the only Survivor: Micronesia castaway from a Survivor edition that pre-dates the show's Spring 2004 All-Stars edition.
"It definitely changes the way you go into the game. The last time I went in I was playing for me. Now I'm playing for my little girl," Dalton told People in a Wednesday report. "Motivation wise I've got to do the best thing for my little girl, but at the same time I'm still the same scumbag as I was before.
Deighton -- who was one of the 14 catwalk wannabes featured on Top Model's fourth season and was the ninth girl eliminated -- recently told Celebrity Baby Blog that the couple has no immediate plans to thrust their child into the unscripted spotlight.
"We'll definitely wait until she's older to see some of our antics!" said Deighton. "But I think if there's a camera around occasionally, that would be fine. After all -- with reality star parents -- there's a good chance she'll love it!"
