Jon Gosselin has made it very clear he wants to live a normal life away from cameras, and he's not messing around.

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star shot off his gun into the air as a warning to a female photographer who tried to follow him to his new home in a remote cabin in Beckersville, PA on Friday, Us Weekly reported.

Gosselin was captured in photos obtained by TMZ pulling out a gun from behind his back and walking towards the paparazzo with a furious look on his face.

"At the time this photograph was taken, I was at [my] home on my own private property that is protected from public access and public view. The paparazza followed me well off of the public roads and was trespassing on my private property when I confronted her," Gosselin said in a statement released to Us.

"I informed the paparazza that she was trespassing on my private property and instructed her to leave. The paparazza refused to leave and continued harassing me and invading my privacy by trying to take pictures of me and my home. I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun, which I then withdrew and used to fire a warning shot away from the paparazza, which is well within my rights under Pennsylvania law when someone is trespassing on private property."

Gosselin reportedly yelled at the woman to leave and chased her from the private dirt roads back down to the main road. He admitted he's not sure whether he wants to take legal action yet.

"At this time, I have not made a decision on whether I will press trespassing charges against the paparazza. However, I do encourage her and other would-be paparazzi to contact local Pennsylvania law enforcement so they are informed about the a landowner's legal rights to protect their families, their property, and themselves against trespassers," added the former reality TV star and father of eight children.

According to TMZ, the photographer wanted to file a complaint with the police until they informed her she'd most likely be the one charged with something -- criminal trespass -- over the incident given Gosselin's actions didn't violate any local laws. As a result, the paparazzo reportedly had officials at least make a note of Gosselin's aggressive behavior.

Gosselin has returned to the limelight in recent news he doesn't pay child support to his ex-wife Kate Gosselin -- who has primary custody of their kids -- he's currently working as a waiter at a restaurant, and he's being sued by Kate for allegedly hacking into her email and stealing a computer for information to help write a tell-all book titled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World.
