Dancing with the Stars' decision to feature a smaller tenth-season cast apparently means viewers will be missing a few familiar professional partner faces during the upcoming season.

Roberts' announcement came a day after Lacey Schwimmer announced via her Twitter account that she would not be coming back for Dancing with the Stars' tenth season, which premieres March 22.
While Roberts -- who had previously participated in Dancing with the Stars' first, second, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth seasons-- won't be back, it's still unknown whether his wife and fellow professional Anna Trebunskaya will follow in his footsteps.
Despite the absence of Schwimmer and Roberts, professionals Cheryl Burke, Derek Hough, Edyta Sliwinska and Mark Ballas also posted to their individual Twitter accounts that they would be returning.
"I'm not tweeting/responding regarding season 10 because we were asked not to," Maksim Chmerkovskiy wrote on Twitter early Tuesday morning. "Don't know why others do. All I can say regarding me is... :)"
ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson told reporters at January's Television Critics Association's press tour that Dancing with the Stars' tenth season would feature fewer celebrity participants after last fall's ninth season had 16 couples -- the most ever for the show.
