Jordin Sparks is mourning the deaths of four loved ones in three separate incidents this week.
"Four Angels in a week. My heart is just so heavy & broken," the former "American Idol" winner wrote in an Instagram post Thursday.
"I'm in shock, numb and feel everything all at the same time. Leah & Rasual (one of my closest friends and her amazing other half who also was a great friend), Bryanna (my step sister) and Q (my little cousin), you were such bright lights in this crazy world. You made everyone better just by knowing them. And your smiles made anyone's day better."
"The world is less sparkly without you in it. Rest In Peace and Power. I love you forever. Find Miles and hug him for me. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Don't ever skip a chance to tell someone you appreciate them or how much you love them."
"Please, please continue to cover their families and our family with thoughts and prayers. #unicornsdontdie #sicklecellsux."
The message accompanied a pair of black and white photos of former NBA player Rasual Butler and his wife Leah LaBelle, who died in a car crash Wednesday morning in Studio City, Calif.
Although the singer did not offer details about the death of her cousin, Sparks' Instagram account featured a link to a GoFundMe page created to help pay for her step-sister's medical costs and to set up in her name patient-recreation spaces in hospitals.
"On Tuesday, beautiful 16 year old Bry went to Heaven. Her dream was to become a model and the 'face' of the #sicklecellsux campaign to make a difference. It didn't happen in her lifetime, but we want to honor that with her passing," the page said.
"In her memory and for all those who have been touched by this horrible disease we are raising funds to help with medical bills and to create a fun space at hospitals called 'Bry's Corner.' This will be place for patients to get away from their hospital beds and the rigors of treatment and have a little fun!"

"Additionally, our mission is to create awareness, help those suffering and to make sure Bry's death was not in vain. Please help! Please share! Let's make her wish come true. Thank you."
