The source seems to think there's not even a chance Anna will divorce her husband of seven years.
"No way is she leaving him," the insider said, adding that it wouldn't be a surprise if "on some level" Anna tries to "absorb some of the blame."
Josh recently confessed to cheating on Anna, utilizing a website called Ashley Madison to have extramarital affairs and developing a pornography addiction. According to People, information obtained by Gawker says Josh bought two different subscriptions from February 2013 until May 2015, which cost almost $1,000.
Josh reportedly purchased the "affair guarantee" through Ashley Madison, which increases one's chances of having an affair or there's a refund.
"Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not [Anna] should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him," the source explained.
"She is fully and permanently committed to her marriage and her children."
The insider noted that Anna will also have the support of Josh's parents Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar as well as their whole circle "in terms of staying with him and making this work."
"Divorce is not even something that will be discussed," the source continued. "As for Josh, in this moment, I would assume he feels like his life is ruined. It will be such a steep and practically impossible climb to come back from this."
Josh and Anna, both 27, married in 2008 and have four children together: daughter Mackynzie, 5, sons Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2, as well as newborn daughter Meredith Grace, 1 month.
"Josh and Anna will pull through this," the source told People, and the scandal will be "seen as a test" which the couple is determined "not to fail."
Josh also released a statement in which he apologized for his behavior and expressed extreme guilt, remorse and shame.
