Kacie McDonnell and Aaron Murray have ended their engagement.

The 24-year-old traffic reporter and Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback had been together since 2013. The former couple gained national attention last year after McDonnell left her job at Fox 29 in Pennsylvania to be with Murray in Missouri.

"I'm loving my career in Kansas City," she told Molly Eichel at Philly.com. "I'm really committed to being a part of this community for the time being. The engagement is off. I wish him the best. It's best to part ways. I'm moving on with my life."

Murray's older brother, Josh Murray, ended his engagement to tenth-season "The Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman earlier this month. The pair were engaged for eight months, and declared the split was both amicable and mutual in a statement.
