J.R. Martinez and girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones are expecting their first child together.

"We found out just last week it's a girl and we are over the moon."
The Iraqi war veteran and former All My Children soap star -- who was crowned Dancing with the Stars' winner with professional partner Karina Smirnoff during ABC's live thirteenth-season finale results show, which aired late last month -- and Gonzalez-Jones' baby girl is due to be born in May.
"2011 has been full of a lot of surprises and opportunities and ultimately, a lot of blessings," Martinez said. "Diana and I were just asking ourselves, 'How is 2012 going to top 2011?' Well, we have our answer!"
The couple, who started off their relationship as friends, initially met at work in 2008 on the set of All My Children. While Martinez was acting in the show, Gonzalez-Jones was serving as the executive producer's assistant.
"We were so good as friends that romantically, we just clicked right away. There was no adjustment period," Gonzalez-Jones told People earlier this year.
