Julianne Hough is a busy girl, as is her Canadian pro-hockey playing fiance Brooks Laich, so how do they keep the passion alive when they're apart?

When Cosmopolitan magazine asked Hough if she has phone sex with her fiance, she admitted, "Oh, for sure. But I'm really bad at it... I'll get halfway through and start laughing. It's an art. I applaud people who are good at it. They need to come and help me keep a straight face!"
Hough, 27, met Laich through their mutual friend Teddy Sears from Masters of Sex.
"I did a horror movie that never got released. I'm convinced the only reason I was meant to do that movie was to meet my fiance. Six years prior, Teddy Sears, my co-star, tried to invite Brooks -- who was a good friend of his -- to visit him in LA," Hough began.
"Brooks, who knows nothing about pop culture, joked, 'What are you going to do -- hook me up with that Juicy Fruit starlet?' He'd seen the commercial and was like, 'Where do I meet a girl like that?' I was the girl in the commercial! Teddy remembered that comment and texted Brooks, 'You're never going to guess who I'm doing a movie with.'"
Hough and Laich got engaged in August of last year. They'll both be getting married for the first time although Hough was previously engaged once before to dancer Zach Wilson. Hough and Wilson called off their engagement and broke up in 2007.
Hough also dished about what it was like to go through a very-public breakup with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.
"I definitely hated that everyone had an opinion about what I was going through. At the time, I was constantly running and touring, which sometimes looked like I was totally fine and couldn't care less, which wasn't the truth. But it was my form of being able to deal," the performer explained.
Hough dated Seacrest for about three years until they split in March 2013.
The upcoming Grease: Live star became famous on Dancing with the Stars as a pro partner, which she's thankful for, but she confessed it's not ideal to always be associated with the ABC competition series, on which she now serves as a regular judge.
"If someone told me they hadn't seen Dancing With the Stars, I would say, 'Oh, good!' Everything I was getting was amazing, but I felt like, I'm so much more than this. I want to be respected as a singer and an actress," Hough told Cosmo.
Grease: Live is set to air Sunday, January 31 at 7PM ET/PT on Fox.
