Julianne Hough is focusing on her music career -- not a potential wedding with boyfriend Chuck Wicks.

"First of all, sorry to disappoint, but we are not engaged. :) We are dating and enjoying this stage in our relationship. we're not in any rush. They of course twisted my words in that article and it's gotten to be a much bigger deal than it should be."
The two-time Dancing with the Stars professional champ had stated earlier this week that she and Wicks see marriage in their future.
"We definitely want to go there," she told People in a report published Tuesday. "The minute we met it was perfect. The first date we had we both had that feeling like we were going to fall in love with each other."
The 21-year-old Hough and the 29-year-old country singer began dating began dating five months ago while both were participating in Brad Paisley's summer tour. The couple recently spent Thanksgiving with her family in Las Vegas.
"He's definitely part of the family," Hough told People. "Everybody loves him to death. He's as big of a dork as we are."
It's not as though Hough hasn't been engaged before, as she was previously set to wed Zach Wilson, who later competed on Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann as a member of the competition's winning "Team Bruno" team.
Hough and Wilson got engaged in late 2006 before she canceled their August 2007 wedding less than two weeks before ABC's broadcast of Dancing with the Stars' fourth-season finale, in which she was crowned champ with celebrity partner Apolo Anton Ohno.
