June, 38, revealed she is completely blind in her right eye and has undergone a total of four surgeries to repair what little vision she has left in her other eye, People reported.
"It's been physically and emotionally draining," June told People of the fact she's going blind. "Losing my independence and having to rely on other people for everything has been crazy."

June explained her loss of vision is because she left childhood cataracts untreated. Her left eye has also been damaged by retinal detachment, an eye disorder in which the retina separates from the layer underneath, according to the magazine.
June says she hasn't been able to exercise because she is recovering from the multiple operations and experiencing shooting pains.
"I can't do anything and have to lay down most of the time and take care of my vision," June noted. "I have to worry about that right now. That's my main concern."
June is currently living in North Carolina with her boyfriend Geno Doak to be closer to Duke University hospital, where she is reportedly being treated. Meanwhile, her daughters Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson are still living in Georgia.
June admitted her weight is not her priority right now given the unfortunate circumstances.
"I'm just focused on getting my vision back. I can lose the weight, I know that. And I know I don't want to go back over 200 lbs. I'm paying attention to it more," she said.

The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star reportedly described the vision in her left eye "a four out of ten," which is a number she's actually fine with.

"Nothing is guaranteed," June told the magazine. "Even if it stays as good as it is now, I'll be happy."
