The Bachelorette alums Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick apparently know what they want and aren't wasting any time in their new relationship.

"We both feel like we're established and where we want to be in our lives and we have, like, the self love and respect to actually, like, be in a mature, healthy relationship," Kaitlyn, 33, said Wednesday on her "Off the Vine" podcast.
Kaitlyn's friend and manager Clio de la Llave was hung up on the word "relationship," asking the eleventh-season The Bachelorette star, "Ooh, do you call him your boyfriend?"
Kaitlyn then replied tactfully, "Can I say this? It's actually so strange to go from being engaged to thinking of someone as your boyfriend because I feel like that's taking a step backwards -- it's not. It's not. If anything, it's taking a step forward because you're just growing and evolving as a person."
"So, yeah, I mean, I would be upset if he was dating anyone else," she admitted, "and I think he would be upset if I was dating anyone else."
Kaitlyn, who announced her split from fiance Shawn Booth in November 2018, also confessed that she didn't expect to fall for Jason, 30, so fast, according to Us Weekly.
"I never thought I would hang out with somebody from The Bachelor franchise!" Kaitlyn noted.
"I feel bad for saying that... I was like, 'You know what? I'll just be a little more private, low-key. Whatever.' But you can't help who you like... You can't fight chemistry. You can't fight a good guy."

When asked to describe the senior corporate banker's best qualities, Kaitlyn reportedly said of the Buffalo native who currently resides in Seattle, "He's just a gentleman... He just seems to enjoy all the same things as me."
"I think the first thing that attracted me to him was that he just seems like a dying breed," she continued. "They don't make them like him anymore. He's a gentleman. He sees everybody as equal... He has the same morals and values as me."

"Of course, there's some sort of feelings going on there," said Kaitlyn, who grew up in Alberta, Canada but currently lives in Nashville. "I think my main thing I'll say is we'll just have to see what happens. Stay tuned."
Due to the fast turnaround in which Kaitlyn initially refused to confirm she's dating Jason but then announced on Wednesday she already considers him her boyfriend, some fans are speculating Kaitlyn and Jason may have talked on Tuesday night and made a decision about what to label their new romance.
Jason officially asked Kaitlyn out on a date last week and then they had a night of dancing and wine in Denver, CO.

The couple was later spotted holding hands when they were out with Jason's pal Blake Horstmann, and then they showed some PDA during a Denver Nuggets game on Sunday.
Kaitlyn first competed on Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor before starring on The Bachelorette in 2015. Kaitlyn got engaged to Shawn Booth during the finale and the pair dated for three years before calling it quits last year.
As for Jason, he fell hard for Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season and finished in third place, leaving him devastated.

Jason and Blake hosted a The Bachelor viewing party together in Michigan that aired live on January 7 as part of the special three-hour premiere event for Season 23.
