The Bachelor's recently-eliminated bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe has spoken out about her heartbreaking elimination.

"That was shocking," Bristowe told Us Weekly at the taping of next week's Women Tell All special. "I was just so unaware and blind going into [it] that that was even an option. That was probably the most confident I felt going into a Rose Ceremony."
Before Soules started to hand out roses, he asked to speak with Becca Tilley in private. Bristowe and fellow bachelorette Whitney Bischoff were convinced Soules was letting her down gently and they were thrilled at the prospect of meeting the Bachelor's family in the next step of the process.
However, Soules returned with Tilley after their talk.
"When he brought Becca back, my first instinct was, 'Oh, I guess Whitney is going home.' That's how confident I was," Bristowe admitted.
Soules then gave Bischoff a rose followed by Tilley. Bristowe tried her best not to break down and cry, and mixed emotions were written all over her face as Soules said goodbye. She was apparently feeling devastated and also somewhat angry in the moment.
"That's not a way you want to be broken up with. So it was tough. It was a tough pill to swallow for me -- to be standing there and be so blindsided and not get that respect or courtesy to be asked to step aside and have a legit conversation before he [eliminated me]," Bristowe told the magazine.
The Bachelor: Women Tell All special will air Monday, March 2 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
