Kanye West is reportedly chomping at the bit to lock down Kim Kardashian.

However, the fact that Kardashian is still legally married to Kris Humphries and has been involved in legal bickering to settle their divorce for over a year is allegedly preventing the rapper from popping the question to his soon-to-be baby mama.
"[West] almost wants to pay Kris off to make him go away," said the source, referencing how Humphries has reportedly been "dragging out the divorce" in the hopes of proving his marriage of only 72 days was a fraud.
"But he's letting it take its course in support of Kim."
Despite the serious obstacle, West reportedly isn't hesitating to pick out Kardashian's future engagement ring.
A source close to the rapper also told Us that West is fully prepared to support Kardashian and their future child in more ways than one.
"Kanye says it's up to [Kim] if she wants to stay on the [reality] shows. Whatever makes her happy, but he can take care of them," the source explained.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries in late October 2011 citing irreconcilable differences.
The reality TV star, who is currently about 14 weeks pregnant, and West announced they're expecting their first child together earlier this month although rumors of the pregnancy had been circulating since December. The couple have been dating for over nine months.
