Kanye West has revealed when he will most likely marry new fiancee Kim Kardashian and what he's got to have on their big day.

"Hopefully next summer," the rapper told Big Boy Neighborhood during a Monday interview with radio station Power 106FM. "All I know is fighter jets, man."

West told the radio host "there aint no surprises" when it comes to planning his wedding, as he'll be like "an open book."

West also elaborated a little more on his over-the-top engagement and what went into his big proposal last week at AT&T stadium in San Francisco, CA.

"I gotta apologize to the race of males for turning it up so much," West joked.

"I was nervous a little bit. But it was more just about everything happening on cue... I planned all that out."

West apparently obsessed about every little detail, including the stadium's lighting.

"They didn't have the lights exactly how I wanted them to be," West said, adding that he had argued with the technician he had hired over how intimate the ambiance should be.

"If I wanted it to be romantic, I would've went to a small restaurant or something like that."

West explained he chose the baseball stadium as the place he'd pop the question for no symbolic reason other than he "thought it would be dope." He also admitted he's not even sure if the big proposal was a surprise for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star because she "just knows everything."

As for the 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring West put on Kardashian's finger, he told Big Boy, "[Kim] knew I was going to eventually ask her to marry me. I just had to get that ring right."

"I worked with four different jewelers. Three rings were made, only one actually hit the finger with Lorraine -- she came through, and the ring actually got changed the night before. That ring was less than four hours old by the time I gave it to her."

West apparently wanted to wed Kardashian before he even really knew her.

"I wanted to marry that girl from the first time I saw her," West explained. "I just had to wait through a bunch of relationships to finally get my chance... It's just patience. You know with certain things, you're like, 'Yo, this is what's right for me, and this is what I should be doing.' And you gotta be patient."

Added the rapper, "We're a perfect balance."

West also gushed about his bride-to-be, saying "she's talented at being beautiful" and he'll continue to call her "my girl" instead of "my wife" when they're married as to never allow people to think there's a negative connotation behind the label.

West and Kardashian have a four-month-old daughter named North "Nori" West together, who was born on June 15. West, intentionally stepping only briefly into father-mode during his interview, said his daughter will get to decide when she wants to be exploited by the media, which is why he refused to sell her baby photos.

In addition, West admitted he wanted to name his baby girl just one name -- North -- which would be legal. However, the rapper joked Kardashian thought he was "taking it too far" with that suggestion.

This will be the first marriage for West and the third for Kardashian, who had divorced music producer Damon Thomas in 2004 and NBA basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011. Seemingly because of Kardashian's relationship history, she told People late last week her wedding will be "whatever [Kanye] wants."
