Kanye West can't wait for his son's arrival.
The 38-year-old designer shared his excitement for his unborn second child in his acceptance speech Wednesday at the Footwear News Achievement Awards. West was honored with Shoe of the Year for his Adidas Yeezy Boost 350.
"I'm waiting on my son to arrive any day now," he told the audience. "I look at my daughter and I look at my wife [Kim Kardashian] and she's rich and I don't plan on being broke."
"She might not be making sentences but she's bringing so much joy," he added of 2-year-old daughter North West. "I know she's going to grow up to be amazing."
Footwear News lauded West's design as "the most-coveted, most-talked about, most-recognized shoes this year" ahead of the ceremony. Kardashian congratulated her husband on Twitter, writing, "So well deserved! I see how hard u work & how meaningful this is!"
West and Kardashian welcomed North in June 2013, and announced they are expecting in June. The 35-year-old reality star, who recently discussed her high-risk pregnancy, alluded to wanting a third child in a new "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" clip.
"I'm 25 pounds up on the scale today and I'm only halfway there," she told mom Kris Jenner. "Last time, I gained 50, but I delivered six weeks early and they say you gain the most at the end ... I'm not worried about after. I'm just thinking about number three."
West last released Yeezus in June 2013, and has his seventh studio album, Swish, in the works. He occasionally appears on Kardashian's E! reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
