Kanye West is blaming Apple and Tidal for not allowing himself and Jay Z to record a sequel to their 2011 collaborative album, "Watch the Throne."
"Because of some Apple, Tidal [expletive]," he continued.
The rant started after the outspoken rapper began performing his verse on Drake's track "Pop Style" that also features Jay Z and was notably absent from Drake's album Views ,which is an Apple Music exclusive.
"I wasn't on the song because of Hov, because of some Tidal, Apple [expletive] ... So y'all didn't get, what y'all was supposed to get with me and Drake on this song because of some Tidal, Apple [expletive]," he continued.
Notably, Jay Z and West are Tidal co-owners with West last releasing his latest project The Life of Pablo exclusively on Tidal before it reached other streaming services.West did not mention his rumored collaborative album with Drake that was teased in September during an interview with Vogue. "We're just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio," West said of the pairing.
West made headlines Wednesday when he added 21 more shows to his currently ongoing Saint Pablo Tour.
