Kanye West was on a mission to speak with the President-elect, Donald Trump, after his hospital release, and he succeeded.

Trump and West, a vocal Trump supporter who has vowed to run for America's highest office in 2020, took photos together in the building's lobby and shook hands after their discussion.
Trump told reporters they spoke about "life," while West welcomed photographers yet remained tight-lipped about the meeting he had previously demanded.
"We've been friends for a long time," Trump said, according to the Daily News.
The trip to New York was West's first time traveling outside of Los Angeles since he checked out of the UCLA Medical Center last week following an eight-day treatment for exhaustion and sleep deprivation over the Thanksgiving holiday.
West had allegedly been acting "erratically" at the time of his hospitalization and even ranted about Trump during one of his St. Pablo concert dates, many of which he later canceled.
West arrived at the Trump Tower with an entourage that included his own cameraman. Kardashian, who had publicly supported Hillary Clinton during the presidential election, was not present.
West had revealed he would've voted for Trump in last month's election had he actually voted. Speculation exists Trump is looking for a musical artist to perform at his inauguration next month.
West flew to Manhattan on Monday in the hope of finding a psychiatrist to add to his medical team as well, TMZ reported. He was accompanied on the trip by several of his West Coast-based doctors.
West has reportedly struggled with long-standing issues of paranoia and depression.
