Kanye West and Deadmau5 are continuing to feud on Twitter after the house music performer called out the rapper for using torrent site The Pirate Bay.
The beef started Wednesday when West inadvertently revealed that he was using The Pirate Bay to search for Serum, a synthesizer plug-in that sells for nearly $200.
"Can't afford serum?" Deadmau5 tweeted to West after he posted a screenshot of his Safari browser to highlight the YouTube page for the Sufjan Steven songs "Death with Dignity." One of the tabs opened revealed a Pirate Bay search for Serum.
Shortly after, the "Power" singer responded to Deadmau5 mocking his name, signature mouse-shaped head piece and Tidal streaming numbers after West helped elevate the music service with the exclusive release of his latest album, The Life of Pablo.
"Deadmau5...is this person's name pronounced dead-mow-five?, # whose job is it to carry the head on the plane # hash tag # do you check the mickey mouse head or carry on # does it get hot?," West started before asking the DJ to perform at his daughter's birthday party as Minnie Mouse.
"Do you do birthday parties?? My daughter loves Minnie mouse...can you please bring the minnie mouse head...not yours she specifically likes minnie mouse..I need you to perform at her party with specifically a minnie mouse dead-mow-five head... not a mickey mouse dead-mow-five head. I'm very detailed oriented and I will know the difference so don't try to just throw a bow on the original head...," he continued.
Deadmau5 fired back tweeting " Imma let you finish...But you should probably be saving the money for a 4th grad education," and adding "I can out idiot an idiot. It's what I do."
Deadmau5 has since changed his name on Twitter to dead mow cinco referencing West's earlier renaming.
The two music stars previously shared a stage together in 2015 as part of Jay Z's Tidal launch event which also featured Beyonce, Rihanna, Daft Punk, Jack White, Madonna, Usher and more pledging support to the music streaming service.
