Karina Smirnoff was taken to the hospital on Sunday after suffering an injury while rehearsing with her Dancing with the Stars celebrity partner, NFL football player Jacoby Jones.

"I was flying over Jacoby and I didn't get down enough so I landed right on my jaw," Smirnoff explained in a Dancing with the Stars video clip obtained by People.
"I tried to get up and I couldn't -- that scared me."
Smirnoff was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for possible whiplash and a dislocated jaw, according to a People source -- putting her status for Monday night's Dancing with the Stars semifinals performance show in doubt.
However, Smirnoff pronounced herself ready to go and insisted the show must go on during a Twitter posting on Monday afternoon.
"Hey guys! I did go2 the hospital +am still a bit sore but I'm going 2 b ok+ not dancing isn't an option. Excited4 2night +LOVE our dances," she tweeted.
In addition to Jones, Disney Channel star Zendaya, former American Idol finalist and country singer Kellie Pickler, soap star Ingo Rademacher and Olympic gymnast Alexandra Raisman also remain in the running to win Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth-season title.
