Swift posted a video of the letter and olive branch onto her Instagram story Tuesday.

"I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This mean so much to me," the singer said in the video that was captioned, "Thank you Katy."

"Hey old friend, I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the feelings between us, I really want to clear air. I'm deeply sorry," the letter, which was partially obscured in the video said.

The "American Idol" judge and Swift have had a longstanding feud which Perry confirmed in May 2017 on "The Late Late Show," was started when three dancers left Swift to work with her after she returned from a hiatus.

The incident gained more attention when Swift released "Bad Blood" which many believe was about Perry.

"I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I think it's actually, like, I think it's time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world," Perry previously said about the feud in July 2017.
