After Bruce recently came out to the world he wants to become a woman, his fame has skyrocketed both due to media publicity and fan support. Although the 65-year-old former Olympian will be starring in his own docu-reality series this summer on E!, Keeping Up with the Kardashians will also benefit from the news.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce will be airing as a two-part special on Sunday, May 17 at 9PM ET/PT, followed by Part II on Monday, May 18 at 9PM ET/PT on E!
The two specials will feature Bruce having "honest, raw and emotional conversations" about his transgender nature and transition into womanhood with Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Scott Disick.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce will take a look into the family's struggle as they attempt to process Bruce's life-changing decision and accept his desire to dress, act and live like a female. Bruce has believed he's a woman at heart ever since he was a little boy trying on his mother and sister's dresses.

Bruce's children, stepchildren and ex-wife will all be afforded the chance to ask questions and speak candidly with Bruce in order to understand what he's been going through all his life. The family's reactions to Bruce's tough journey will be unfiltered -- from surprise to compassion and support.
The Kardashian and Jenner family apparently hope their situation will help others trying to wade through similar experiences.
The two broadcasts will also include "family home-video footage that reminds viewers and the family of the special times they spent with Bruce as a father, husband and friend, and serves as inspiration for the memories they'll create as Bruce lives his 'new normal,'" according to the network.
Bruce still wants to be referred to as a man for the time being, with the press utilizing male pronouns.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce is being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions.
