While Odom's health crisis occurred in October of last year, the KUWTK episode documenting how the event affected the Kardashians won't air until Sunday, January 31.
After Khloe received a devastating phone call about Odom, the cameras captured her pale, expressionless face staring off into space.
"Khloe has been spending every second with Lamar," her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, said in the trailer after Khloe discovered her estranged husband was only given four hours left to live.
Kris Jenner can then be heard off-camera telling Khloe, "I think hearing our voices and having family around might make a difference."
Odom's situation has changed drastically from a few months ago when the footage was taped for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The former NBA player has been making progress walking, talking and feeding himself every day. Odom's recovery isn't without setbacks, but Khloe told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Monday he's doing "really good."
"[Lamar]'s long-term memory is great," Khloe said of Odom, who was recently discharged from the hospital. "His short-term memory isn't so good, but I mean, if I met someone earlier today, I probably wouldn't remember either, so that's understandable!"
