Kelly Clarkson shut down a body-shamer on Twitter this week.
The 35-year-old singer and original "American Idol" winner delighted fans with her confident response Tuesday after a person told her "you're fat" online.
"....and still [expletive] awesome," she retorted, adding a winking emoji.
Clarkson's response had received over 16,500 likes and 3,100 re-tweets as of Wednesday morning. Friends and fans voiced their support for the star in the comments.
"YES YOU ARE!" "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene tweeted with a heart emoji.
"SO AWESOME! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!" Young & Hungry actor Rex Lee added.
Clarkson told Redbook in 2015 that she isn't fazed by body-shamers.
"I don't obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it," the singer told the magazine.
"There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism -- that is not me. I wish I had a better metabolism," she confessed.

"But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has."
Clarkson said in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" in December that motherhood has made her the most confident she's ever been as a woman.
She shares 3-year-old daughter River and 14-month-old son Remy with husband Brandon Blackstock.
