Kendal Brown, an unemployed 23-year-old from Northport, AL, became the seventh girl eliminated from America's Next Top Model's fifteenth season during Wednesday night's broadcast on The CW.

"I'm sad like I tried so hard in this competition. It seems like they didn't get that from me, which I don't understand, but it's like what else can you do," Kendal lamented. "Tyra said that I just need to practice more, and look in magazines and get my sisters to like tell me the expressions on my face -- I just need to practice, but I just don't know what I'm going to do."

Kendal was eliminated after Top Model's judges reviewed the photos the season's eight remaining finalists had taken at their sixth photo shoot, which required them to each portray an iconic fashion designer while posing with a professional female model who wore the fashions of the designer they were portraying.

Kendal ended up in the bottom two alongside Esther, an 18-year-old student from Boston, MA.  Both girls had failed to impress Top Model photo shoot director Jay Manuel during the photo shoot, which featured Kendal portraying Vera Wang and Esther portraying Christophe Decarnin.

"The thing is right now, I feel like it's two models standing on a set," Jay told Kendal during the photo shoot.

"I'm trying to be simple, you know, she's [Vera Wang] just simple," Kendal said.

"It's registering as blank," Jay replied.

Jay had a few more thoughts about her performance following the photo shoot.

"Kendal was the biggest trouble and she was just flat, boring, and I don't think Kendal really is passionate about being here," Jay lamented.

Jay and the photographer Francesco Carrozzini had also been frustrated with Esther, whom they felt could not get into the character of a male designer as they both attempted to guide her through the current photo shoot.

"That does not work -- I need attitude -- you are not a girl," Francesco told her.

"Esther was a bit of a disappointment today -- I really felt like Francesco was struggling with her on set trying to say no, no, more masculine! So it was definitely a struggle to shoot her," Jay critiqued.

The next day the girls arrived for the fifteenth season's sixth elimination panel -- where they were met by Top Model creator and lead judge Tyra Banks, photographer Nigel Barker, judge Andre Leon Talley, and Carrozzini, who served as a guest judge.

The judges had criticized both girls' photos during their panel critiques.

"For me I feel like it's a little too over the top -- sometimes when you have to portray someone else it's in the subtleties," Nigel said about Esther's photo. "I see you so much [but] at the same time it looks like you're in costume and I can't get past that."

"You guys are to play a character, yet you have to be yourself as well. There's not enough of yourself there," Francesco added.

"You have the most stunning bone structure, but if you look at your close up, you've lost it by being too lax with your face," Tyra told Esther. "If you're playing a man you want to bite down on your jaw and exaggerate the bones in your face -- It looks kind of like a handsome guy, but he doesn't look as handsome as you are beautiful."

Kendal's photo was then reviewed.

"You were not taking direction very well, especially for your body -- I felt you were very nervous. The idea that you gave me was that you were not trying hard enough because you are very beautiful and it looked like 'I'm beautiful [and] I'm just going to show up in front of the camera," Francesco told Kendal.

"My fear is is that you are the noun and not the verb, so you were born a model but are not modeling. What do you think is blocking you?" Tyra asked Kendal.

"I think my nerves, like when I go onto a shoot, I [become] nervous and I don't know what to do. I do feel like I need more experience," Kendal admitted.

"Most of the time it's personality that makes a model, not even the way you look, Francesco added.

Tyra revealed the girls in order of the best photo to the worst of the week. Liz received the first photo ending the record-setting five streak set by Ann, a 19-year-old student from Dallas, TX. Following Liz, Tyra then revealed Kayla, Ann, Chelsey, Chris and Jane had also advanced to the competition's next round -- leaving Esther and Kendal in the bottom two.

Tyra recapped both girls' issues before revealing which one would get to remain in the competition.

"Esther you are the girl that started slow but then got stronger and stronger and gained momentum -- When you slip back, you slip back ten notches. So the judges are nervous. One of them says that they feel you have one look, an Esther look, which is beautiful. But the girl that we're looking for to be on the covers of Beauty and Vogue needs to be a chameleon," Tyra told her.

"And then we have Kendal, one of the girls that the judges from week to week say that they haven't seen a girl that looks like this in years -- that you have a look that is rare -- you have a look that is special. You're like a new colt that is ready to run -- your legs are wobbly, you're unsure of yourself and you continue to fall down in the hay. And the reason that you are still here is because of your potential -- maybe you were born to be a model but don't have the skills," Tyra explained.

Tyra then revealed Esther's photo, resulting in Kendal's elimination.

"When I was talking to you, you said that you need experience," Tyra told Kendal afterwards.

"Yes I do," Kendal replied.

"So you know that these girls are a lot more ahead when it comes to their abilities, and what you need is somebody in your hometown that can say 'Kendal, No! Give me energy in that face!'  'And take pictures of me, just make me get out of this shell and make me push through,'" Tyra exclaimed. "Do you have somebody like that at home?"

"My sisters," Kendal confirmed.

"Your sisters -- So then can you tell your sisters I need you to take pictures of me? I need your sisters to be hard on you," Tyra responded.
